Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the thing that matters. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
